They’re simple and only take a couple of ingredients. They are a quick lunch time favourite for weekends.
Frozen puff pastry sheets and your favourite hot dog sausages with optional sesame or poppy seed for on top. A little milk.
Preheat your oven to 200*C, it should be hot to start.
Cut your hot dog into 3 pieces (or any variation you wish).
Cut pastry into 6 pieces (1 sheet of pastry to 2 hot dogs). Wrap your sausage piece in a piece of pastry sealing with a brush of milk or water and place onto a lined tray.
Brush top of pastry with milk and sprinkle with seeds. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Eat as a snack or with salad and chips for a lazy dinner.
Play with it to see what you come up with. Much cheaper than the store bought ones and really don’t take much time.
