When my favourite mascara comes on special for half price I buy a few so I have a drawer of mascaras ready to go when I need one BUT, I do have issues with remembering how long I’ve had one being used for and just sometimes if I don’t have my glasses on I can’t see that it’s not really doing anything as it’s empty.
So I started dating them, easy with a permanent marker and a strip of clear sticky tape over the top to make sure it doesn’t wipe off in your hand while it’s being used.
This also works for any other make up (or other things you’re trying to keep track of) you don’t use often and may not realise how long it’s actually been sitting in your drawer.
