Biscuit cake slice.

I really have no name for this, I found some raw biscuit dough in the freezer, this is what I came up with.

Some chocolate biscuit dough.  Make up a vanilla cake mix (packet or from scratch).  Spread your biscuit dough on the bottom of a slice tray to cover the bottom 1/2 to 1cm thick.  Pour vanilla cake mix over the biscuit dough and bake as usual in a 180*C oven for about 25-30 mins until cake is cooked.  When you tip this out of the slice tray, use the double wire rack method – rack top and bottom, turn whole lot over, take off rack, tin and paper.  Put wire rack back on bottom so there is still top and bottom racks on, then flip back over carefully.   Let cool.

I like the chocolate biscuit on the bottom and white on the top for effect.

You can use any combo you like, try chocolate on the bottom and orange poppy seed cake mix on top.

Chocolate on the bottom and vanilla choc chip on top.

Chocolate on the bottom and marbled pink and vanilla cake mix on the top. (Divide your vanilla into two, colour half.  Pour a bit of each on randomly for marble effect).

No reason you can’t have vanilla biscuit on the bottom and chocolate on the top.

Ice if you wish.

Cut into squares and serve.

This freezes well.
